Fifteen children from Year five at Wilbury Primary School took part in a visit to their Spanish partner school in Malaga in May.
The trip is part of a two year funded Erasmus project with both schools visiting their partner school in another country as part of the project. During their time at that school, they joined in lessons and took part in their morning of sport.
Lisa Wise, Headteacher at Wilbury, said: “The pupils at our Spanish partner school were very welcoming. When we arrived there was a whole school outdoor musical celebration followed by a breakfast of chocolate and churros!
“On the last day, the parents laid on a special lunch of Spanish specialities. The children also had time to visit the beach and swim in the sea as well as visiting the beautiful old town of Mijas for lunch.
“It was a very special trip which the children will remember for a long time.”
